This is a subject that I have been waiting to write over for a long time, and that is on how to buy internet marketing products cheaper. I do buy quite a lot of products as it is an important part of my research on improving my business and internet marketing skills

What is truly amazing that it is very easy to buy the same product that you are interested much cheaper to buy elsewhere or sometimes can even get it for free. It has saved me thousands of dollars over the years.

Okay, let me just pick a example of a product that I just purchased for US$0.50, and let’s try to explain this promotion that I got today from one the newsletters I subscribe to.

The first thing I always tend to do after reading the sales page is to hit the buy button, why because this will tell me quickly the way on how the product is promoted.

Normally a few things can happen here;

1) You may have to subscribe first to a newsletter, painful, but you then again you can use a handy throw away email account such as “10 Minute Mail” to subscribe and then get the payment gateway information.

2) Next you may get to the order form, always read this carefully, especially if you get free offers which will ask you for shipping charges to deliver the product and then most likely force you to sign up to their monthly membership site as well. This is normally it is free the first month and thereafter you pay monthly, and they call this a free offer, well for me it is a back end sale I normally stay well clear of them!

3) Or you may go straight to the payment processor form from Paypal, Clickbank, Paydotcom, 2Checkout etc. In this situation, if you have not done so, check the sales page again and see if the seller offers refund to the product. Most ethical internet marketers do  offer refunds as they know that the product that they are promoting is worth the money asked for, so they know that they most likely will have low refund claims.

Beware of those marketers who do not offer refunds, as I believe the majority of products are not worth the piece of paper they are written on, and getting a refund through the pay processors can be slow nightmare and more than often wound up to be not be successful!

4) And lastly the proper order form, which will tell you the refund policy, for example 100% free for full refund after 90 days and of course some payment options such as credit cards, checks or PayPal etc, so no surprise here.

We now have to following information for our Google search, name of product “eBay Profit Pack’”, price of product US$27, product domain name and name of writer (Stefan Antonius) to check if this a unique product or sold via Master Selling Rights, which is the latter.

As the sales page looks interesting, we now type in – eBay Profit Pack – to see what the results are, see if we can get better prices and also see if there are any reviews on this product!

Well surprise, surprise, at this point of writing I can see that there are about twenty links to this product. Looking through them I noticed they all offer the same product for US$0.50 to US$27 and there are possibly some sites where you can actually download it for free, watch out for ad and spyware though!

My verdict is simple, it is a pretty crappy product of which there maybe are hundreds of sites floating around cyberspace, but then again even for US$0.50, and that with Master Resell Rights and with a little bit of rewriting and savvy marketing it as a mini-site you still should be able make US$10-20 per month.

What is important to know in today’s story is that you should always do your research no matter what before buying any product that is been offered to you as there is bound to be a bargain found somewhere else!
